ASUU is excited to facilitate a new RSO Budgeting Process, which will empower RSO leaders to plan and submit semesterly budgets for their student organization.  RSOs will now have the opportunity to submit Budget Proposals for Fall Funding for all activities happening between July 1 – December 31, and Spring Funding for all activities taking place between January 1 – May 26.   By planning and submitting a budget for each semester, ASUU seeks to empower RSO’s with proactive knowledge regarding the total amount of money they will be approved to spend each semester. All RSO Budget Proposals will be limited to a maximum $4,000 per Academic Year.  More information regarding the ASUU RSO Budgeting Process is forthcoming from the Student Leadership and Involvement (SLI) team, who oversees our RSO community’s operations.  The Priority Deadline for RSO’s to submit Fall Funding Budget Proposals via Campus Connect will be on Sunday, September 15th at 11:59pm MT, and the Final Deadline to submit Fall Funding Budget Proposals via Campus Connect will be on Monday, September 30th at 11:59pm MT.  Send any questions to studentorgs@utah.edu.  We’re excited for another great year with you all!
