Student Leadership & Involvement provides many leadership opportunities at the University of Utah. Our student leadership programs include ASUU (student government), the Organization Resource Group (ORG), more than 600 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), the Involvement Ambassadors, ULEAD Leadership programs, Leadership Studies Minor, and the National Society of Leadership & Success.

As a registered student, you are automatically a member of ASUU—your student government. This organization strives to provide resources and services to students, provide funding to student organizations, host events and programs, and advocate for students in interactions with University administrators and on University committees. ASUU works to be a powerful, representative, and inclusive voice of the student body.
Leadership Studies Minor
The minor in Leadership Studies utilizes expertise and courses throughout the university community in an effort to provide students with a variety of opportunities to explore leadership philosophies, theories, case examples, and practices. Find out more here.
The National Society of Leadership and Success
The Society is the nation's largest leadership honor society. Students are selected by their college for membership based on either academic standing or leadership potential. Candidacy is a nationally recognized achievement of honorable distinction. With 538 chapters, the Society currently has 604,043 members nationwide. Find out more here.
