By offering a variety of events, programs and services, Student Leadership & Involvement at the University of Utah incites students to action, encourages engagement in campus and community service, and provide opportunities that enrich and support personal and academic growth and development, which culminates in a lifelong commitment to effective leadership.
Student Leadership & Involvement provides many leadership opportunities at the University of Utah. Our student leadership programs include ASUU (student government), ULEAD Leadership programs, Leadership Studies Minor, NSLS and student organizations.
Getting involved is easy! Want to be a part of student government? Join ASUU. Have a passion or hobby? Join one of more than 600 Recognized Student Organizations by logging onto OrgSync! Or start your own student organization! Check out PlazaFest, the largest tabling event for student orgs at the U, during both the Fall and Spring semesters! OrgSync brings on-campus events and student organizations all onto one exciting platform. There are tons of enriching and thriving events facilitated by our student organizations. If you need help finding the right fit, send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org
We stand with all students, including our students who identify as Muslim and students here from New Zealand. Students requiring immediate support can contact the Counseling Center by visiting their office (Room 426 Student Services Building) or by calling 801-581-6826 and asking to speak to the crisis counselor on call. The Counseling Center is also able to arrange for a “community support meeting” for affected students, staff, or faculty who would benefit. Please email Christina Kelly LeCluyse (email@example.com) for further information on scheduling a community support meeting. Additionally, the Meditation Space on the Mezzanine Level of the Union Building remains a space for students of all faiths to utilize anytime the Union Building is open.
