By offering a variety of events, programs and services, Student Leadership & Involvement at the University of Utah incites students to action, encourages engagement in campus and community service, and provide opportunities that enrich and support personal and academic growth and development, which culminates in a lifelong commitment to effective leadership.
Student Leadership & Involvement provides many leadership opportunities at the University of Utah. Our student leadership programs include ASUU (student government), the Organization Resource Group (ORG), more than 600 Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs), the Involvement Ambassadors, ULEAD Leadership programs, Leadership Studies Minor, and the National Society of Leadership & Success.
Join one of more than 600 Recognized Student Organizations and learn more about the ORG team by logging onto OrgSync! This platform centralizes on-campus events and student organizations all onto one exciting platform. There are tons of enriching and thriving events facilitated by our student organizations. If you need help finding the right fit, contact the Involvement Ambassadors!
As a registered student, you are automatically a member of ASUU—your student government. This organization strives to provide resources and services to students, provide funding to student organizations, host events and programs, and advocate for students in interactions with University administrators and on University committees. ASUU works to be a powerful, representative, and inclusive voice of the student body.
This summer, Campus Connect will replace OrgSync as the U's student engagement platform. For additional details about the migration to Campus Connect, including the timeline, please see our implementation webpage. Expanding on the current functions of OrgSync, this new platform will host the Recognized Student Organization (RSO) community, campus resources and offices, countless events, and important campus updates.
Looking for the best way to get involved and expand your U of U experience? Schedule a consultation with the Involvement Ambassadors! This team of experienced student leaders are experts in all forms of student involvement and can assist you with developing your involvement journey.
