All Recognized Student Organizations (RSOs) are able to reserve and use the RSO Storage Space located on the first floor of Gardner Commons. This space is a useful resource for RSOs who have items that are difficult to store in personal spaces.
The RSO Storage Space can be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis through this Campus Connect form. No RSO receives special consideration or priority over others for storage space regardless of their classification, number or size of items, or previous usage of the space.
This document provides guidelines for proper usage of the RSO Storage Space, lists restricted items which cannot be stored in the space, and explains potential repercussions for failing to follow this guide.
Usage Guidelines
- Each RSO approved for storage will be designated a maximum amount of one shelf per rack in the storage space.
- All visible stored items (not including items stored inside transparent containers) must be labeled in the following format:
- Full name of RSO as it appears in Campus Connect (no acronyms or alternate names).
- Storage start date (MM/DD/YYYY) – Storage end date (MM/DD/YYYY).
- The maximum amount of time an RSO is permitted to reserve a space is one standard academic semester.
- If an RSO wishes to continue using the same space, they must fill out a new reservation form prior to the end of their storage date.
- All stored items must be organized tidily within the boundaries of the designated shelf.
- Moving, misplacing, using, or taking another RSO’s items without consent is strictly prohibited.
